Commissioned by Cordwainers Grow in Hackney, these full colour maps are designed to illustrate a series of walking trails around five areas of Hackney, with the intention of celebrating community gardens in Hackney, and with the aim to raise awareness of the spaces and protect them. 

Designed as a series, the brief was for a series of accessible, boldly coloured and graphic maps that referenced colourful graphics found in Hackney on the walls, signage and on clothing. The maps are designed to be engaging and informative and to be fold up pieces that can be carried around. Illustrations highlight elements of the gardens and green spaces, plus illuminate some of the breadth of nature that can be found in these city havens.
